For embellishments, I noticed this paper had some circles within the design so I added some glittery brads to give it a little more 'pop'. Not that you can tell from my pictures! ha! I plan on hanging this in my living room with a collage of our family pictures around it.
Your shopping list:
2-3 12 x 12 designed papers
1 sheet of either 8 1/2 x 11 OR 12 x 12 card stock for candle holder base
coordinating paint that will adhere to canvas
1 yard ribbon
Your choice of embellishments, ie; buttons, brads, glitter, ribbons, etc.
We will be providing brown and black embossing powder, if you need another color you will need to pick that up as well.
I will also have some important news to share with you this month at class. Please be preparing your hearts for that new update.
I still need a couple more ladies to share hand made Christmas gift ideas, if you have one you'd like to share please let me know ASAP!
Thanks for checking in today. Now leave me some LOVE in the form of a comment! Hugs!
Thanks for posting a picture so we can see what and where the paper etc. is used-it helps when shopping for supplies! This looks fun and I'm anxious to make it! Cathi
ReplyDeletequestion - why do we need so many 12x12 patterned papers? where are they used and should they be all the same pattern and/or color? Thanks,Cathi
ReplyDeleteCathi,
ReplyDeleteOne will be for the front of the canvas, and then you will want to have at least one other that is coordinating for around the sides of the canvas and to make your candle holder coordinate with your plaque. Hope that helps ya!
You are so wonderful Amanda! Thank you for sharing your creative talents with us! I can't wait for the next class:)
